Hello there! I'm Amith,
I build design systems that
outlast roadmaps, survive pivots, and make new engineers feel like geniuses
on day one.
Enterprise systems, B2C flows, zero-to-one products.
I've shipped all three. The secret is the same every time: foundations first, components second, arguments with engineers third.
Where I have put in value
My experience so far.
June 2026 - PresentLooking for Amazing team to work with
Apr 2025 - June 2026Senior Product DesigneratVitra.ai
- Took on more responsibility across the team and the product line. Started mentoring interns and junior designers, and kept evolving the Aero design system as the product suite grew more complex. Took ownership of two more products end to end, Vitra Universe and Translate.photo, while also improving workflows across the entire product line based on ongoing customer conversations.
- Began working more closely with leadership, brainstorming directly with the CEO and COO on new zero to one product directions, and started developing new mental models for how the product should function as it scaled. Since the team didn't have dedicated product managers, also took on writing PRDs to keep product direction documented and clear.
- Across both roles, the common thread was ownership: understanding what customers actually needed, translating that into product direction, and helping the team scale the product without a formal product management layer in place.
Apr 2022 - Apr 2025Product DesigneratVitra.ai
- Joined as a early/individual product designer and built the Aero design system from the ground up, creating the components, patterns, and principles that later supported every product in the Vitra family. Took full ownership of three products end to end, Translate.video, Translate.website, and Short.video, handling everything from early research to shipped design. Spent time directly with clients and customers to understand where they were struggling, then used those conversations to shape product decisions rather than relying on assumptions. Worked closely with the co-founders and engineers to push these products from zero to one, often being the one connecting customer problems to what engineering could actually build.
- This work led to real, measurable outcomes. Redesigning core interface components and simplifying enterprise workflows cut task completion time by 66 percent, from 15 minutes down to 5. Through competitor analysis and user testing, identified and resolved more than 8 critical usability gaps in AI driven, data heavy workflows, which helped move product adoption up from a 2 percent baseline. Also ran cross functional design reviews and workshops with co-founders and engineers that consistently landed around 90 percent stakeholder satisfaction.
